- Contrast Makes the DifferenceVivid, well-lit photos with strong contrast print most vividly. Very dark, flat or grainy images tend to look muted on white mugs.
- Black Mugs Need Light ArtworkIf you're using a black mug, choose a design with white or very light elements – anything too dark will simply blend into the mug.

What file format is recommended for printing?
We recommend PNG or JPG with a resolution of at least 150 dpi. PNG is ideal for cut-out designs, JPG for photos. Bright, high-contrast images give the best results.
Can personalised mugs go in the dishwasher?
For a longer-lasting print, we recommend hand washing in warm water. Frequent dishwasher cycles can gradually affect the print over time.
How long does delivery take to the UK?
Production typically takes 1–2 working days after your order is placed. Total delivery time across the UK is generally 3–5 working days.
How does the magic mug work?
When cold, the mug is completely black. Once you pour in a hot drink (from around 70°C), your design appears. It fades back once the mug cools down.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No – no minimum order. You can order a single mug just as easily as larger quantities for events or corporate gifting.
Can I print all the way around the mug?
Yes – the panorama mug offers a full wrap-around print area, perfect for panoramic photos or wide designs.
Are personalised mugs microwave-safe?
The standard white mug, panorama mug, two-tone mug and large mug are all microwave-safe. The magic mug is the exception – using it in a microwave or dishwasher would permanently destroy the thermochromic effect.
